I have been working on a client’s website and I have some coded buttons that are giving me trouble. The buttons, when clicked, start a download. However, in some browsers, clicking these buttons causes 2 of the same downloads to start at once. Looking for help and answers as to why that is. These buttons open 2 downloads in Chrome, and Firefox, but not in Safari. I want the buttons to only trigger 1 download.
The buttons that are doing this are the “Download the Standalone Installation” under the “Standalone License” column, and the “Download the Network Client Installation” under the “Network License” column in the chart towards the top of this page (note, both of these buttons should be downloading https://download.orca3d.com/Orca3D.x64-3.1-20241123-NetCore.exe) . You can see in the screen grabs below the chart I am referring to, and in the 2nd screenshot, that 2 downloads begin after clicking on just 1 button.
