Is there an app like Wix has with Dropbox that can “share” chosen files hosted on our dropbox? We’re not selling those files, but they are resources freely available to be used by our visitors. All I’ve found is digital purchase apps that sends an email with links after the “purchase”, but that doesnt suits our needs. On Wix it gives a “file browser” when you click on one of the widgets, from the specified “top-level” starting folder. Then the visitor can chosse the file they need and download it.

You can use the Wire app - https://apps.shopify.com/wire
Wire enables you to sell/send files, URLs, and text as well.
While we enable you to sell/send dropbox URLs, we would advise uploading the files against the product via Wire to avoid any potential misuse.
We send files/URLs to customers via mail and allow for a much more instant file delivery post-purchase. Given Shopify components, it is only post-“purchase” that instant file delivery within a store similar to the above-intended experience can be achieved. We have recently launched an app like this, but it is built on top of Shopify files storage. Basically you can pick files hosted on Shopify and create an searchable 
file library embedded on your store.
The app is called File Search & Download Hub MPX.
Love to know your thoughts if this is something relevant to your use case.
