Hello, I run a store that sells physical as well as some digital products for which we use the Digital Downloads app by Shopify. Recently I’ve had some interest from some digital creators that would like to sell their downloads on our store. I’m wondering if there’s any digital downloads apps that can allow our store to function like a “marketplace” for approved creators who would be able to:
upload and edit/maintain their own digital files
edit their own product details/descriptions/images/prices
see their own downloads sales
Ideally it would be great if there was a way to automate payments to the creator (we would take 10%) but we can also handle that manually without too much trouble.

You’ll likely need 2 different apps - Something like this for setting up a marketplace, and the Digital downloads side of it is pretty straightforward. We have an app - Filemonk - that can get you set up there fast.
The challenge will be getting everyone’s digital content and connecting it to product listings so customers get download links upon purchase. Not impossible, but some work in getting it set up right.

mentioned. They seem like they will “technically” work but they’re all a
bit terrible and buggy unfortunately. Most of the marketplace apps actually
do include downloads functionality which seem like they were mashed in as
an afterthought, but they’re not as good as filemonk or the digital
downloads app by shopify. Seems like a good quality system for what I’m
looking for isn’t currently available with Shopify.
Creators will be able to see all their orders, you can also pay them directly through the patform.
