For Draft Orders (that come in via call center), we have always been able to create orders and accept credit card payments. We use a third party provider (JP Morgan Chase). We have been doing that for years. Today, when we try to enter credit card in a draft order, we get the message "Activate a direct credit card gateway for this store.'. Our third party provider is still working(active in settings) as credit card payments are still going through on our shopify website.
I read in the Shopify help center that you can only accept credit card payments for draft orders if you use Shopify Payments. Is that true and is that new?
Will we need to switch over to Shopify Payments or is there some workaround. Thank you.
