Within the last couple of weeks, our draft orders no longer show the entire variant titles. Our naming convention is simple: Color / Size / Type. The title is being truncated after 20 characters, but this is not the case in orders as seen in the photos attached. When contacting shopify support, their response was ?.

Apparently, this is just a thing now that we have to deal with?!

Worse yet - when hovering over the variant title in the order screen, it will show the entire variant tile, but when hovering over the draft order, it shows the same truncated title! Once adding the item, we have no way of telling what the item actually is!

I swear this platform is getting worse every update…

Can anyone recommend a quoting app that utilizes tags?

This new “feature” is incerdibly frustrating. We cannot see the color of the product anymore, which is quite essential. Hope this gets fixed soon.

This new feature makes our orders hard to oversee and prone to errors, I hope Shopify decides to undo it ASAP!
