Driven 3000 customers, 40 to checkout, no convesions

Hi!

I opened my store a month ago. I thought about using other themes, but I figured that the dawn one was the best one since I want to sell an extensive amount of products in the future. However, I have not sold a single product yet. As stated in the subject, I have had 40 people in check out, but not one has. This could either be due to some issues with the settings or something looking odd with the checkout pages, I’m not sure. I would like some feedback on my store since I feel something might be missing. It is a niche store within the field of golf practising and golf training/accessories.

All the best, Alexander

Hello @RangeRats ,

Good day! Gina from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $6Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot.

Actually, it’s great that you’ve been able to drive 3000 customers to your store and that you’ve had 40 people in the checkout process.

Can you drop your store link for review?

However, it’s important to identify why they’re not converting into sales. As you have not provided the store link these are some tips that you can follow to improve the conversion rate.

  1. Make sure your product pages are optimized
The product pages should be clear, informative, and visually appealing. Include high-quality images, detailed product descriptions, and any relevant information that could help the customer make a purchasing decision.

  2. Optimize your website’s loading times
Slow loading times on your website can cause people to leave, whereas faster websites not only offer a better user experience but can also improve your store’s SEO.

  3. Make your checkout process more efficient.
The checkout process should be simple and easy to use. Avoid asking for too much information, and make sure that the checkout page is visually appealing and easy to navigate.

  4. Offer promotions or discounts
Consider offering a limited-time promotion or discount to encourage customers to make a purchase. This could be a percentage off their purchase or free shipping.

  5. Analyze your traffic sources
Look at where your traffic is coming from and consider adjusting your marketing strategy to target potential customers more effectively.

  6. Add product reviews on the product pages.
Reviews help build trust and loyalty, and most of consumers will look for feedback before making a purchase decision. On your product page, you are showing some placeholders for testimonials. Replace it with product reviews.

  7. Remind abandoned cart customers
With abandoned cart emails, you can remind your customers of the items they expressed interest in and then left your store with no intention of returning. You can do this from your store Settings > Checkout > Abandoned Cart section > Choose to send abandoned cart emails either one, six, 10, or 24 hours after a customer abandons a cart.

Don’t be afraid to try new things and test different strategies to see what works best for your store. Continuously monitor your analytics and adjust your approach as needed.

I hope these suggestions are helpful in improving your store’s conversion rate. Best of luck with your business!
