Hello all. I am starting a dropshipping only retail site with Shopify. Unlink traditional dropshipping, I am going straight to individual manufactures with a broad approach. I have everything in order except for the partnership agreement however, I do have a partnership overview created. Should I just expand in further detail using my overview or does Shopify offer an agreement template that I could utilize? Or would you have a different recommendation?
Topic summary
- Launching a Shopify-based dropshipping retail site, planning to work directly with multiple individual manufacturers (a broad, category-spanning approach) rather than using traditional dropshipping intermediaries.
- Current status: Most setup is complete, but there is no formal dropshipping partner agreement in place; only a high-level partnership overview exists.
- Request: Advice on whether to expand the overview into a full agreement, use a Shopify-provided template (if one exists), or consider other recommended options (e.g., alternative templates or legal counsel).
- Note: Dropshipping = retailer sells without holding inventory; suppliers/manufacturers ship orders directly to customers.
- Outcome: No responses yet; the question remains open with no decision made.
