We are using Shopify sub-folders for certain international markets. For example we’ve created the “en-eu” sub-folder for all countries in the EU using the euro.
https://mywebsite.co.uk/… base domain
https://mywebsite.co.uk/en-eu/... when selling to these countries so everything is priced in Euro
Now Google indexing fails with the following errors:
Duplicate, Google chose different canonical than user and every page is in the sub-folders. How do I fix this, as the pages under the sub-folders are auto generated? We could of course remove the sub-folders, but it would make it harder to analyse EU traffic independently.
