You were right that our shopify theme has canonical tags - they’re a great way to ascertain our original content.
The canonical tag particularly helps us out when we are forced to create duplicate pages. But why do we have duplicate product listings?
It seems that a product listing underneath two different collections is impossible to direct into one page. It seems to create an identical page with a different URL because it has a different route of arriving to the product page??
For example this pink dog bed:
https://www.petslovescruffs.com/collections/scruffs-ellen-collection/products/ellen-donut-bed-pink
It’s actually the same product that is on this page:
https://www.petslovescruffs.com/products/ellen-donut-bed-pink
