Dymo Labelwriter Turbo Printing Blurry Barcodes that can't scan

I recently had to install Dymo Connect in order to overcome a known issue where labels were printing blank after a Windows 10 update.

Now, using the same label template as before, barcodes are printing blurry and are not scannable. I’ve tried changing:

  • print quality
  • advanced printing features
  • color printing mode
  • halftoning (especially to avoid dithering)
  • print quality
  • print density.

It’s definitely possible I didn’t have the right combination of settings. Does anyone have any ideas?

As a side note that might be relevant, previously the printer printed really slowly. Now, they’re coming out extremely quickly. Text remains clear but barcodes are not crisp.

Revisiting this. Still having the issue on two of my 3 laptops even though the printing preferences on them are identical.
