Hi guys, I was just wanting some clarification on Google dynamic remarketing. My products are disapproved for dynamic remarketing I was just wondering if this affects my Google free listing as my Google free listing is not disapproved. Here is a picture of what I’m seeing.
It is possible yes, if the reason for disapproval is also a reason for free listing disapproval. With so many policies, there is always a chance.
Looking at the type of violation, if you sell health related products without making claims or statements, the chances are low you will get disapproved. However I would not know as it all depends on your website, and info you submit to Google.
Hey, My free listings are all approved none are disapproved. Could you please explain to me what dynamic remarketing is? I believe you are meant to set it up in Google ads as it is something you pay for. I don’t do ads so having products disapproved for dynamic remarketing I don’t believe will affect me. I only do the google free listings.
Dynamic remarketing is a Google Ads feature, which allows you to retarget your existing website visitors on 3rd party websites with visual images created with your products.
And yes, you need to pay for remarketing display ads.
So if you don’t do ads, I recommend unchecking display / dynamic remarketing in your feed. By going to Google merchant center > products > feeds > click on your feed > uncheck everything except free listings, and save.
