I know that it is possible to click onto the e-mail address of my customer in order details. But there you cannot use a template nor it seems to be possible to add an attachment (like terms and conditions).
Is there a way to add mail templates?
And is it possible to add attachments to it?
As of now I am using Outlook to send mails to our customers. That needs some work by hand I would like to get rid of.
Thanks for reaching out here. That’s a great question!
I completely understand how this could reduce the manual work and allow you to focus on other things in your business.
The good news is that you can edit this template HTML. If you’re looking to add one time attachments like Terms and Conditions, you can include a link to the PDF you previously uploaded to the Shopify Files section.
To edit the template HTML, head over to Shopify Settings and click on the Notifications section.
You can also achieve beautiful template designs with the help of an app such as OrderlyEmails. It’s free to try, customise and test before purchase. You can add it to your storefrom this link.
However, if you don’t feel comfortable editing the template code yourself, you can always reach out to our Support team. Assuming your store has enough complimentary design time left, our team can customise this for you.
You can reach out to our Contact Us pageon this link. Then log in to your store. It will allow us to verify you as the store owner securely. Once you have successfully logged in, you should be able to reach out to a Support Advisor and discuss the customisation request.
