If the domain was purchased from Shopify, then you can follow these steps to edit the DNS settings for your Shopify-managed domain. However, if you’re not seeing the option to edit the DNS, then it’s possible that your domain is purchased from a third-party. While we’re unable to access merchant accounts on the Shopify Community, I was able to use WHO.IS, a free public domain lookup tool, to check the domain (hillsidequilting.com.au) and it seems it may have been purchased from Crazy Domains.
I can also see Shopify’s CNAME record and I didn’t notice any problems visiting your storefront. if you’re still experiencing any issues with connecting a third-party domain to Shopify, then simply get back to me here and I’d be happy to take a look. You can also reach out to the domain provider for assistance with editing the DNS for your domain.
That being said, do you have a marketing plan prepared for your store? Have you considered using something like Shopify Inbox to interact with customers live on your store?
