Editing Add To Cart Button Action

I have a third party photo swatch app installed that is reliant on the “add to cart” button being on the product page. However, I don’t want customers to be able to add the items to cart, I want the product page to be more of a catalogue and then they contact us to place their order. We do bulk custom orders for businesses and it is much easier to work one on one with our customers when they want to place an order. It seems like every photo swatch app requires the “add to cart” button to be there in order to show up on the product page (I’ve tried at least 5 different ones) So I’m wondering if there is a way to change the action of the add to cart button? I’ve already figured out how to change the text on it. Now, I would like for the button to redirect the customer to my “contact us” page to fill out the contact form. It seems like the only way to do this is to edit the code of my website and I have tried for days to learn how to do that with no luck. Is there anyone who knows a lot more about coding that can help me figure out if this is even possible? and if so, give very detailed steps so someone (me) who has absolutely no idea how to code can figure it out?

Hi Stephanie,

We can easily do what you’re asking. We can add the text you want there and then make the redirection you desire. If you don’t know how to code, it might be a bit challenging for you. At least we can solve this issue and offer you different opportunities. If you send the link to your website, I can help you for free.

Terence.

That would be amazing! My website is www.lvl7co.com

Hi Stephanie, were they able to do this for you? If so, how much did they charge? I’d like to do something similar where the Add to Cart button actually adds the item to the cart then redirects to an add-on product page for customized options. Thanks
