Editing columns content in product page

Hi all! I have just set up my product page within Shopify to have a multi column section layout. This has been a success but now I can’t work out how to add content to them. Each product has to have different things in so I would assume it is edited via the individual product page but there is nothing I can see there, just the usual Description box. If anyone would help me I would be grateful, thank you.

If you want unique content for each product inside the containers you will need to use metafields for this.

So under settings —–> metafields and metaobjects/ custom data from admin, you can add a product metafield.

This field will be present now on all the products, you just have to go add in the content from the product admin where we add the price and other info. This is the backend done with.

Now to display it on the frontend, open your customizer and go to the tab where you need to add content. Now instead of adding content manually click on the small database icon on the top right, clicking on that you will get a list of all metafields and metaobjects. Select the one you created. Now the content wil flow in dynamically fron the backend product admin where you added the content.

To add different content for each product in a multi-column section, you’ll need to use metafields or metaobjects . Shopify doesn’t allow unique content per product in that section by default.

You can create custom metafields (or a metaobject structure) and assign different values for each product from the product admin. Then, those values can be dynamically displayed in the multi-column section on the product page.

So the content will be managed individually for each product through metafields instead of the default description box. If you need help setting this up, feel free to ask.
