Editing the "Heading 1" format in product description

Hello,

if I understand my marketing and SEO-skilled friend right*,* I should use headings in the product description and use key words in those headings to boost my position in organic search since the blank “paragraph” heading text is useless in terms of SEO.

The issue I’m having is the format of those headings. I would like (for example) to use the Heading 1, but I would need it a bit smaller and not bold as it is by default, because it destroys the appearance of the page on phone (3 lines instead of 3 because it’s just too big).

Is there a way (and if yes, where exactly?) to edit the default format of the headings in the code?

Thanks, Daniel

  1. You can manually size it using a small style code. (Its a bit of work and you have to do it for every product - so not advisable) (See screenshot)
  2. Also, your friend is right - every page must have an h1. But for every product page, your product title is the H1.
  3. So having another h1 in the product description is a bad idea. Instead, you can make it h2. Which will solve your problem of being too big.
