Editing Vendor Pages with Meta Description, Title and Add Content

Hi All, is there a way we can edit Vendor pages to add Meta Descriptions, Titles, and Content for each Vendor we have? I have tried to search everywhere for all this and unable to find any info on how to do this.

Would just be like how you edit collections pages but for vendors

Frustrated that you can’t edit vendor pages for SEO purposes like adding descriptions and titles? Shopify doesn’t allow that directly yet, but here are some workarounds:

Third-Party Apps: Explore Shopify apps for vendor management. Some might offer features to add meta descriptions, titles, and even custom content for vendor pages.
Blog Posts: Create dedicated blog posts for each vendor highlighting their brand story and products. This can achieve a similar goal as vendor pages with SEO benefits.
Optimize Product Descriptions: Include relevant keywords and information about the vendor’s brand or origin within the product descriptions themselves.

You haven’t found the settings because Vendor Pages do not exist as editable objects in Shopify. They are just automated system search results.

To get the control you want, you must create a dedicated Automated Collection for each vendor:

  1. Create a new Collection.
  2. Set the condition to Product vendor is equal to [Vendor Name]
  3. Now you can edit the Description and Search engine listing (SEO) at the bottom, just like any other collection.
