Is it possible to choose color swatch for product A while image swatch works for product B?
I set up image swatch and find that color swatch doesn’t work. What’s more, if I choose style for variants, it doesn’t work either.
Can anyone solve this problem?

Hyde here from Shopify. Interesting question!
You can create variants within your Shopify admin, however, for swatches, you would normally use a third-party app as listed in our app store.
Are you using one of these apps? If not, are using a swatch feature that is provided by the Ella theme? Either way, your best bet is to reach out directly to the developers of either the app or theme you’re using.

I’m having an issue where the image swatch and variant are not responding on my website, when you choose an image swatch the default picture doesn’t change to that option. Can you help me with this issue? I tried to contact the Ella Theme Support but its been days and I have a website launch soon.

I understand that time is of the essence with your launch due soon. So I’ll try to be as succinct and concise as possible!
You can attribute different images to the variants in a product within the Shopify store. Simply add your images to each variant and the images will change whenever a customer clicks on the different variants.
However, if you’re using a third-party theme that could complicate matters somewhat. Sometimes the data from your store isn’t always represented as accurately on your third-party theme and you have to reach out to the developers for help.
I know you’ve said you tried that, and that you hadn’t had a response. How long ago was that? I know that sometimes demands on support can be quite high and could result in delays, but if the wait feels unreasonable to you, you might want to consider using a different theme altogether.
What are the features of the Ella theme that you like? I’d be happy to help you find an alternative from our theme store if you like!
