Email marketing sequencing

What would you recommend as the customer journey for email sequencing, starting from on boarding.

Setting up an email journey for onboarding is a great first step for any business. Setting up a drip campaign requires some front-end work, but once you’ve created it, you can let it run by itself.

If your customer journey starts with an email sign-up, the sequence should begin with a welcome email that introduces your brand and thanks them for their subscription. If the brand promised a discount code in exchange for the email sign up, the initial email should have that code for them. After introducing your brand, you may want to add an email that highlights key product features and one that addresses common features. These emails should come within a week of the initial touchpoint. Lots of brands also then funnel the end of the onboarding experience into some type of continuous newsletter that serves as a consistent touchpoint for your potential customers moving forward.

You can also use drip campaigns for the post-purchase process, product recommendations, abandoned cart reminders, or more. You can learn more about drip campaigns here.
