I have the same problem with two Norwegian sites. I’ve talked to Shopify support. They have seen the problem and are trying to figure out why. And hopefully fix it.
I had an hour-long chat with support on the morning of Friday, May 13, and they became aware of the problem. But they couldn’t figure out why it was happening. They followed up by email in the evening, suggesting I change the names of language files and edit the templates. That didn’t fix it. I’m now awaiting a further response from them.
You only have one default language as well, just Norwegian, no English? Thanks!
Same here. I’ve done several tests and even added a second language, I found a possible workaround but it’s still not the right way of doing it.
My project is new but it’s strange that this type of problem hasn’t come up earlier, is your project also new or was it working well and started coming up with this error all of sudden?
Let me know how it goes with you, I’ll do that same. Thanks.
I have two stores that have worked well for years. One started sending out customer emails in English on May 21, and the other on June 6. I’ll keep you posted.
