Can anyone recommend an app that would require a customer to enter their EMAIL ONLY prior to reaching the checkout page. I am looking for an app that you can set up the EMAIL ONLY requirement. I do not want the customer to have to log in or create an account or enter anything other than email address to get to the checkout page.

Hey @becky2323,

This is absolutly possible to disable the checkout button without entering the Email in Shopify. It’s the simple steps and the customization that you need to follow.

You’ve to add the email block on the product page and make it required untill they input the email.

Can you share your store url so that I can take a look and provide you the solution code based on your current theme.

Qasim - To clarify I need that once someone adds a product to there cart and they then hit the checkout button they won’t be able to proceed to checkout without entering an email address.

I got you.

Would you like to share the store url.

Looks like the forum silenced you for posting your url

It is possible to put an e-mail entry field on the cart page/drawer and make it required before proceeding to Checkout.
In fact, most themes already allow to enter “Cart notes” on cart page/drawer.
May just need to make it required and add some validation, perhaps.

However, this is not a reliable “barrier”.
Buy now or Dynamic checkout buttons would ignore this and it would be possible to walk around this if one knows bow Shopify works.

The only reliable way is to “require accounts”.
