Hello,
I received an email from shopifybot.blockingissue@gmail.com stating that I will be suspended immediately if I do not hire a shopify expert partner to resolve the issue. Now Simplistic wants to charge me $300 to rectify it. All insights, thoughts and advice is welcomed.

Hi,
That email seems suspicious, as Shopify typically contacts store owners through official channels, not a Gmail address. I’d recommend not responding or paying anyone until you’ve verified the issue directly with Shopify support through their official website or admin dashboard. Always be cautious of phishing attempts, and only hire verified Shopify Experts from the official Shopify Experts Marketplace.
Hello,
THANK YOU!!! I appreciate your quick response and especially your
insight! I will exhale now and prepare for the New Week. You’re the BEST
and Thank You again! Be Happy On Purpose!!

@WriteToFeel You’re very welcome! I’m glad I could help and provide some clarity. Thank you for your kind words—I truly appreciate them. Wishing you a smooth and successful week ahead!

Turn off image loading in any email clients, as scam emails use images that are loaded when an email is opened to put you on more scam lists.
Understand that having to even ask this type of question generally means someone is susceptible to slightly more sophisticated scams.
