After writing a Community post and clicking “post” you may see the error Correct the highlighted errors and try again.
The error can come can appear when
- You have not added a label when the board you’re posting on requires a label (right hand side)
- You have entered a keyword that is not allowed in the Community
You will see an additional error appear on the page to outline what you need to fix.
- If you’re missing a label, then all you need to do is click the most appropriate label
- If you’re using a keyword that isn’t allowed in the Community, then you will need to remove they keyword from your post/subject before continuing.
- Note: Keywords apply to URLs that are hyperlinked. While the keyword may not appear in the post itself, the error can still appear if the restricted keyword is included in any of your hyperlinked words. Removing the hyperlink will fix the issue.
For security reasons, we can’t provide a list of restricted keywords, however, some examples of keywords that are restricted in the Community are curse words, access tokens and common terms related to spam in the Community.
