Error importing CSV file. The supplied file has too many columns. Maximum is 500

I’m not too familiar with CVS files but had one provided to me by my supplier. I tried to upload it but got the error message:

  • The supplied file has too many columns. Maximum is 500

Is this something I can remedy myself?

You have to structure data specifically for the target system.

CSV’s are not magic, one platforms/suppliers or sources arbitrary CSV structure is not the same as others.
