Hey everyone, I’m having the same issue. I contacted Google, AliExpress and Shopify, but I still can’t activate the Google channel because it’s asking for the GTIN every time I go to register the product. I even tried registering it as a personal product, but that didn’t work. Furthermore, none of the Aliexpress sellers I use for drop shipping will provide the GTIN number. Most of them don’t even know what it is. Any idea why Google needs it and if there are any solutions?

The following rule applies:

  1. If a manufacturer has assigned a barcode then you are required to add this info in the GTIN field. Alongside the brand value with identifier exists to yes.

  2. If the manufacturer has not assigned a barcode, then remove the values brand, mpn and gtin and set identifier exists to no.

So based on this you need to correctly submit the data. However regardless of the situation you should be able to use the Google Channel, maybe you meant something else by can’t activate the Google channel.

Gtin is required for this product.

That is what happened i have tried summiting my products as customized not customized personal and they have all been rejected this will be my 3rd attempt to summit my products without gtin or mpn since nobody knows what theses numbers are most have never even heard of a gtin number. So I’m hoping google approves this time.

With regards to suspensions, you need to make sure you’re website complies with requirements. The main reason would be related to your business or website.
