ERROR UPDATING PRICES VIA CSV

I’m trying to update the prices for some of my products, as I’ve done in previous years without any issues.

This time, when importing the CSV with the new prices, even though the preview shows everything correctly, the price remains the same as before.

What could be the issue?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Rosa

Hey Rosa,

Heddy from Gameball here.

It sounds frustrating, especially since it worked fine before. If the CSV is showing the correct prices in the preview but not updating them after the import, it could be a caching issue or a slight error in the CSV format that’s not obvious at first glance. First, try clearing your browser cache or checking in an incognito window to see if the prices have actually updated but just aren’t showing due to caching. If that doesn’t help, double-check the CSV file to make sure the prices are in the correct columns and that there are no extra spaces or formatting errors. Sometimes even small things like that can cause issues.

Hope that helps!

Hi @ROS4 ,

That’s definitely annoying, would you be able to share the first several rows of the CSV file you’re using?

Also, after you’ve updated the prices does it show the old prices in both the admin and on the live site?

Best,

Daniel

Hi, Heddy.

I cleared the cache, I used the same file that I export 5 minutes earlier, just modifying the values. Nothing works.

I run out of ideas…

Hi, Daniel.

I’m using to import data the same file that shopify export. Only change values.

After the update, all remains the same, both the admin and the site. I should point out that in the Shopify preview (before updating the file), the prices appear changed,
