Error when attempting to edit Checkout page

Hi there,

I am working on my site which I haven’t launched as yet. I am using the Craft theme and I have a couple of questions.

First one relates to the Checkout page - when I attempt to view it from the dropdown menu on the top of the template admin page it gives me a couple of errors - the quick one is shop.app refused to connect which then changes to pop up window Failed to load the page (This page is not compatible with the editor due to one of the following issues:

  • Page is redirecting to an unsupported URL

  • Page failed to load due to an error).

Would this be because I haven’t selected the Shopify payments plan yet? (wanting to hold off until I am ready to launch).

The second question relates to the customer login page - once logged in the theme doesn’t apply to the page and it shows a very plain styled page.

I would appreciate any help in advance.

Thank you

The checkout error was due to my plan being the pause and build plan.

Still have the problem with the theme not being applied to the checkout editor pages - checkout, post purchase and customer accounts pages.

@effers For checkout: that’s normal in draft mode. Checkout can’t be edited in the theme editor and often throws that shop.app/redirect message before launch or without payments fully set up. It doesn’t mean something is broken on the storefront checkout.

For customer accounts: that plain layout is the classic account UI. Craft applies styling to the new customer accounts, but classic accounts will show basic Shopify markup. Enable “New customer accounts” in Settings → Customer accounts to get the styled version.
