I am trying to send a custom invoice for $50 and I selected “Charge tax on this Product”, but the estimated taxes are taken out of the $50 making the total (including tax) $50. I did not have this issue before and I don’t think I am doing anything differently, how do I fix this? I am selling in California to a buyer in California.

I first recommend checking your tax settings. You can navigate to Settings > Taxes and duties and verify if the Include tax in prices setting is turned on. If it is, you can unselect it and click Save which should resolve this issue.
If the setting is already turned off — can you share whether any recent orders you’ve received also have the taxes included in the price, or is it only happening with this invoice?
