So last year i purchased a year long plan. ($349) I went through the year and didnt make my money back so I decided to no longer use Etsy integrated with my shopify store. So I followed the instructions that I could find. “remove app from shopify store and close account” and I thought that would cancel it so I didn’t pay for the service again. Then I got charged another $349 recently from etsy integration. Is there any way to get a refund?
Hi, @LJBC .
Welcome to the Shopify Community, and thanks for sharing your question here.
I understand you no longer wanted to operate your Shopify store and use the Etsy integration app. You mentioned you uninstalled the app but was not aware that you would still be billed.
If you want to request a refund for the app that you purchased from the Shopify App Store, then you can use the Get Support button to contact the app’s developer. The developer might approve or deny your refund request, depending on the circumstances. You can check the app’s listing page or the developer’s home page to see if they have a refund policy. If the app charge was processed using Shopify, then the app’s developer can issue you a refund or give you a credit.
Please follow the steps below to contact the app developer.
Steps:- Visit the Shopify App Store and search for the app.
- Click the app, and then click Get support.
- Enter your information and a message, then click Send message.
Replies will be sent to the email address associated with your login.
I hope this helps!
