Customizing the “Dawn” theme & I have added 2 products (published). Whenever I try to add a section like featured collection or featured product only the example product(s) show up even when I’ve selected either my collection or the product.

Also when I try to add a button it doesn’t show anything under products.

This is indeed odd. Try to make the product draft again and make it available. Try also duplicating your theme and seeing if that works. If it doesn’t work, you can reach out to me to take a look or talk with Shopify Support.

NEVERMIND GUYS, problem was I imported the product using DSERS app & there was a toggleable option which I turned on!

Great that you figured out. That was what I asked you on my first reply but didn’t know you were using a Dsers app. My contact is right below if you are stuck on anything in the future.
I’m having the exact same problem as you where did you find that screen in DSERS to fix it. I might be a little slow but I cannot seem to find that screen with those options anywhere on my DSERS.
