I am excited to share a major milestone with you all. After a lot of hard work, design iterations, and planning, we have finally launched our online store: Shoescoo! :rocket:

As a team passionate about handcrated dress shoes for important moments with hones pricing, we chose Shopify to bring our vision to life. The journey of setting up the store has been a great learning experience, and we are proud to finally open our virtual doors to the world.

I took a quick look at the site and the overall look and feel is great!

My small piece of feedback is that you can adjust the accent colors at checkout to match your brand’s colors as it is currently using the default Shopify blue.

You can easily do this from the Shopify Admin > Settings > Checkout > Settings and scroll down until you see Color

On the first two points which are the overall feel of the homepage and the mobile shopping experience, I am very very impressed to say the least. The store is so well neatly designed and organized that it genuinely felt fun scrolling through.

For how to improve the conversion rate, I’d say add in a video or two on the product homepage which will help display the products even better and make them look more attractive.

Congratulations on launching that store. It is visible all the effort that is put in. It is a very nice store, with a good theme, fonts, colors, and images with a lot of text/content that is great for both customers and SEO.

I can not find much to complain at but here are a few things:

  • I noticed that menu and footer links are not uniform; you have both all capital letters and in regular size. Choose one and make all the same.
  • Second thing, I would like one or two sections on the homepage from Our story, but to me, more personal, video and images are good, but text is a bit general. Check this topic and store User feedback
  • Also seems that our store and Our craftmenship story are similar, no ?
  • I could not find you bussiness details like address and maybe some registration number. Are you in Illinois, but everything is made in Turkey? And you are shipping from US? Think that should be clearer.
  • Contact page looks unfinished with that text and “Contact form” sticking like that.
  • I do see review count but there is no way to add a review or actual reviews. So not sure where that comes from and if it is real.

And a final note, “Luxury Quality $300+ value for $169” and " Handcrafted Quality. Honest Price." While it sounds good, it can be a warning sign. That something is not quite right.
