Hi everyone, I just want to ask, how can I exclude some variants added to a new collections for discounts.
That’s doable with liquid conditional code to show or hide products depending on those conditions. For example hiding all sold out products, etc.
hi, thank you for your reply. however is there other easy way to do it? 
There are manual ways like a creating another template to show your specific products but those are not feasible since you might more often need to change or customize it.
There might be ways but may be I am not aware of it.
I am a developer and I go the coding way the best part about it, you don’t have to keep updating stuff once you have customised it as per your condition you don’t have to worry about adding removing deleting products, etc

The third-party apps that provide more advanced discounting features. These discount apps allow you to create discounts that apply to specific variants, collections, or customer segments.
@Macoy102890 , native doesn’t don’t seem to have this option, but I suggest our app, Discount Bot, to set this up.
You can select the collections the discount applies to but also exclude variants you don’t want the discounts to apply to.

Third-party apps make it easy to separate variants. I own the Stamp – Collection Variants app , and we help merchants display variants separately on the collection page and home page. You can customize the settings per collection to show or hide specific variants, filter variants, or separate them by specific options. For example, you can create a “Gold” collection and display only gold-related variants
