I applied for Shopify capital on the 23rd of March, sent required documents on the 24th and the estimated funding date was the 6th of April, the estimated funding date has now disappeared.
has anyone else had this problem before? quite annoying as I’m placing an order for inventory and wanted it to coincide with the funding deposit to secure stock for a cheaper cost.
Should I just cancel it ?
Estimated funding dates may fluctuate depending on a number of factors. The documents you’ve provided will need to be manually reviewed by our Captial Team and Banking partners. If they approve of the application, funds will be deposited into your account within 2-5 business days.
As you submitted your documents before the weekend and the Easter holidays from April 2nd - April 5th, there is likely a longer than expected delay as our teams review the documents you’ve provided which could explain why the April 6th date has disappeared.
What I would recommend is to reach out to our Support tomorrow, April 6th as our Captial team will be online. Our Support can touch base with the Captial team to see where your application stands and provide further insight why the April 6th date has been removed.

Hey! Did you ever get your funding? If so, how soon after the date disappeared?
The same thing just happened to me and this will be our 4th round of funding. This has never happened before.

Horrible experience with Shopify Capital for me. My Store was closed due to selling IPTV (That’s they accused to me, I’m not selling any of these) after I applied for Shopify Capital. What a horrible experience with Shopify.
They don’t answer my any of emails when I explained that I didn’t sell any of these services and I’m not selling online because I am opening a brick & motor Store.
They don’t know anything about Business but these nonsense people are working in the Shopify Trust & Safety department. What a pity for Shopify.
