Experiencing issues with iOS16 beta Safari and Shopify app?

Hi

Anyone having problems on shopify app and in browser.

In browser i dont get full layout cusomize and edit code window

App is crashing when normal opening it, if you quickly press orders it works, but when clicking home it crashes.

Hope there will be a fix soon

Also crashing on ios 16 public beta 2.

Seems to be from the graph of todays sales/sessions when opening the app as it doesn’t crash if I open from a widget on home screen which takes you directly into the analytics tab with table view of sales instead.

Yes not only crashing, basically you can’t even work with it, the product page lags like crazy, super slow, refreshing the page makes it even worst and blacks out the page. Than you have the editing the site doesn’t work at all, it shows only the top part of the preview. With happens in all browsers so basically shopify needs to be completely updated for ios 16

It’s the same for me, my application doesn’t stop crashing as soon as I go to the home tab. The only way for me to open the application is to go through the analytics widget… I’m also on iOS 16. I have no problems with iPadOS 15.

I have the same problem. Shopify open and when it is on home menu. It’s crash.

i had unistall and log off m’y account. It’s the same.
iPhone 11 Pro , IOS 16

I’m also experiencing the issue on the latest beta release for 16.0.

Logging out,Uninstalling, deleting data on the phone doesn’t change the outcome.

Likely something that the developers need to update on the app.

I spoke to Shopify’s customer support… turns out, Shopify doesn’t currently support ios16 beta! So it’s not going to work… we can’t uninstall ios16 beta either as Shopify still doesn’t open up!

Shopify app doesn’t support ios16 beta… so it will only work up to ios15 until 16 is officially released this fall.

Update: On 16.6 Beta (Latest 16.08.22) its working all back to normal :slightly_smiling_face:

Yeah, my app crashes every time I open it. Iphone 11 ios 14.8
