Experiencing PayPal issues with manually created orders?

Is there anyone else that is facing the following issue:

Our repair center manually creates orders and sends the corresponding invoice to the customer.
If the customer clicks on “pay now” in the invoice email, the checkout process opens as usual.
If the customer now chooses paypal he also gets forwarded as usual, but paypal shows a total sum of 0,01€ instead of the correct order amount.

Talked to shopify support and they need to investigate further with paypal :disappointed_face:

frankly we have not find the source of this problem yet. It still happens occasionally and just within the orders that were drafted by our employees.

My suspicion was that it may be connected to the new order invoice template that was released by shopify in october, but the shopify support did not find anything in this direction :disappointed_face:

It’s only been 3 months - what can we expect… :wink:
I will try to escalate this with Shopify then.
