Hi There!
Anybody knows if it is possible to add some extra costs during the check out, if the costumer selects a specific payment method? for example: Ideal (free), Creditcard (€ 1,99)
Hope somebody can help me! Thanks!

Hi @Elmer1 ,
It’s not possible to create different charges based on a gateway. Could I ask for a little more context on what you’re trying to achieve, please? I’d like to know more about your store, your reasons for wanting to encourage one payment gateway over another, and what it is you’re selling!
Hi Andrew,
Thank you for your comment!
Some third party payment providers asking high % or fixed prices for a payment. For example Klarna after pay. This method is getting more and more populair, but Klarna keeps around 3,9% of sellingprices. So I want to give people the option to chose for this payment but I want to ask for a little Extra charge for this ‘service’.
I sell a lot of different products for house/garden/living.
I hope i made it a little more clear for you what i would like to see.
Another question I have what I would love to see and many more with me, is 2 different fields in check out for street and house number. Now this is one field and sometimes this causes trouble with API’s. ![]()
Best regards,
Elmer
Hi @Elmer1 ,
I completely understand your reasoning, and it makes sense that while you want to offer your customers many payments options, ideally you would encourage them to use one that didn’t take such a big percentage of your payouts.
Could you offer an incentive to pay by a particular gateway? For example, any customer that pays using PayPal for example gets a free gift along with the order? Just a thought!
In response to your request for more checkout fields, this is a popular concern and one that our developers are aware of. I will pass your feedback on to them internally.
