Facebook - commerce account Not aproved Error with Facebook

Hi , what did you end up doing after your shoo was rejected twice? Did u find a solution

Nope. Legit nightmare. Created a new business account but my insta somehow is still attached to the old even after I disconnected. Literal ■■■■ show.

Hi,

Did you manage to get approved after 2 shop reviews and rejections? As apparently the 2nd review is the last chance of review?

Hi, I was thinking to disconnect the shopify facebook sales channel and try for a re-review with only my approved manually uploaded products. But facebook are saying my commerce account and access to commerce manager will be deleted if I disconnect the shopify integration. Did you try this as one of your solutions? Sounds absurd as it was just meant to be an integration.

Hi, were you approved after 2 rejected shop reviews?

Did you try creating a new facebook business page? It looks like I’ll have
to resort to that. What a ridiculous process.

Hi what did you end up doing after the second failed review? It seems the only way is to make a new facebook page?

hi, how do you create a new commerce account?

I’m wondering the same thing also. I didn’t realize I would only get one review at the time or else I would not have requested the review. Now no matter how many times I have reached out to Facebook with evidence that my shop meets their criteria, I receive the same generic response about them “not having enough bandwidth” to allow for another review. It is beyond frustrating! I also refuse to create a new page because I have had to work extremely hard for the followers that I currently have.

If you created a new FB page, would it get new reviews then? Or is it linked to your Instagram as well?

I have the same problem. Facebook has so many problems! I am also having an issue with it saying that my Instagram account already belongs to another business - it doesn’t.

I had the Facebook shop working well with Etsy, but stupidly changed our website to our Shopify store and now we’re not approved for Facebook shop anymore.

I think Facebook just think they are big enough that we need them more than they need us. And they treat people extremely poorly. They need to give the steps to resolve the issue.

I’m also thinking of going back to Etsy and hoping that FB will reinstate our commerce permissions if we do that.

That is so frustrating!! I’m sorry that you’re having a similar issue! I agree, they definitely feel that it’s no loss to them whether or not they help us. I think they feel that small businesses like us aren’t worth their time…

Has anyone tried using a different Shopify app to load your products to your Facebook Shop? I wondered if using a third party app might do the trick.

What evidence would you provide to prove that your store meets their
commerce eligibility criteria? I dont know where to start.
Thanks!

I believe that anyone who reports having been approved is using their appeal. Anyone who naively submitted an appeal right after having the initial connection reject has no chance of approval I have wasted over three months on this. Time to move on.

I agree, I think that’s why some are approved when others are not also…

I made the same naive mistake!

Are you using Kit by any chance? I get the same error when I try to connect my Instagram account. It says “This Instagram business account is already linked to a Commerce account on Shopify. As of August 31, you’ll be able to finish setting up checkout on Instagram from your Shopify account.” I think I saw somewhere that Kit is retiring on 31 August and that’s the only reason I think it’s linked. I’ve tried deleting Kit but no luck. Will be interesting to see what happens after 31 August.

Don’t fall for scammers offering “solutions”.

Only Facebook and/or shopify can fix this issues
