Hello everyone,

I have been having some serious trouble trying to create a Facebook business account in order to start using their ad platform.

No matter what I do they keep declining my account without giving any specific reason:

I have read through their policies. Both are very broad, I cannot see any issues and there is no way to contact them.

If I click on the continue request it asks for my number, I add my number and click Send SMS but nothing happens. I feel that Facebook’s systems are treating me as a spammer and simply blocking my requests. Note that I have already sent my ID to Facebook and it was confirmed.

I have also tried creating an account using my personal Facebook, using my Facebook of my main business. Both of which resulted in the same decline.

Strangely they allowed me to have a normal ad account but declined the business account:

The issue is that the pixel is not working and there’s no way for me to request another one or customize it due to them declining my business account:

So without the pixel using the ad account is pointless.

I am really loosing my mind over this. In my 15 years of online business I have never run into such a road block before. If I can’t get this resolved I will be canceling Shopify as it is not viable without Facebook.

Any assistance would be amazing and very appreciated.

Really disappointed @Shopify_77 threads on the forum simply get buried, little to non-existing support.

As for this issue there is no way to contact Facebook about it and no info about the issue. It’s looking like it will result in me closing down the store.
