Anyone ever figure what is causing this issue and a fix? Been the bane of my existence since it stopped working on feb 9 2021 lmao.
At the end of the day, events aren’t being deduplicated (including purchases), so FB pixel is totally hosed thinking performance is great, when it sucks.
I’ve tried 3P pixel api aps, but found them to be insufficient as shop does not appear to share customer details/billing with 3p, so zero data on abandoned checkouts and does not help with purchase attribution when details are not shared. I went back to FB integration yesterday…test events today and a single click will produce 7 different events (view content, add to cart, etc…when not all apply…and they all have the same event ID and deduplication is not happening. Just opened a ticket with shop but figured I’d ask if anyone ever figured this hot mess out.
