I have no idea what’s going on. I have the facebook and instagram app. but when I make a pixel on the app it does not sync to my facebook business manger. yes, i have tried all the simple stuff. I have been fighting this issue for almost two months. Has anyone had something similar happen? What was the issue?

I guess you added Meta pixel code in your Shopify store site.
However, it is necessary to confirm if the id is correct.

what does google tag manger do?
I did add a facebook pixel code manually to my shopify. it does seem to
work. but how well does a manual code work compared to the code that should
automatically be syncing when i create a new pixel on the facebook and
instagram app
