Faulty directory structure for markets -> other markets -> "subfolders"

Dear all,

when setting up subfolders for specific markets (Settings → Markets → Other Markets → Country X → Domains and Languages → Market Domains and Subfolders → “Subfolder” selection), I have a problem with the generated directories/link structure.

As an example I created a market for Austria and set German as default language. When clicking on “Preview” the start page still works fine, all links in the store are generated incorrectly.

If I remove the multiple /de-at/ from the link, the pages are callable again. The whole thing occurs with every store I have created. Does anyone have any idea what is causing the problem and how to fix it?

Theme: Broadcast 3.0

Apps used (among others): Geolocator; Langify

Another question: default theme language for us so far is German with additional translations in English and French. Is it possible to change this to English on the fly (and keep German and French as additional languages) or will this have a negative impact on SEO or even risk losing translations? We are working with Langify.

Thanks for your help in advance

Same problem! And can’t turn of MARKETS @Shopify_77 . It Will destroy our SEO

@JJL_de find a solution. It was not Shopify problem it was Langify. They respond how to solve issues:

Due to the markets section, 4 letters iso codes are now possible.> > > > Our developers are currently working on a workaround for this adjustment.> > As the 4 letters wasn’t given before, langify’s automatic link correction produced this /de/de/de/de/de/de/de issue.> > > > Please add the respectiive 4 letter ISO codes to the automatic link correction.> > You can find it in:> > langify app → “Dashboard” (on the left sidebar) → Select the respective theme at the top dropdown → Scroll down to “Theme Settings” → Select the subtab “Advanced Settings”> > IMPORTANT(!):> > Please note, that this is a theme-dependent setting.> > As soon as you change your theme (even a duplicate), the adjustment needs to be done again.> > If you need help with this, please let us know, which 4 letter ISO codes you are exactly using.

p.s. Add /de-de, not simply de-de and it will be solved
