Favicon not updating

I’ve updated my new logo in the settings but old logo still shows as favicon. Cleared cache and can’t figure out what else I need to do.

  1. Verify Favicon Upload:

    • Go to your Shopify admin panel.
    • Navigate to Themes > Customize.
    • Within the theme editor, look for a section titled “Favicon” or “Theme Options.”
    • Ensure you’ve uploaded your new logo here in the correct format (e.g., .ico, 16x16 pixels).

  2. Clear Shopify Cache:

    • In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
    • Beside your active theme, click Actions > Publish.
    • This will republish your theme and clear Shopify’s cache, potentially forcing the new favicon to display.

If none of these steps work:

  • Contact Shopify Support for further assistance. They can investigate the issue further and provide more specific troubleshooting based on your theme and settings.

Yeah, sometime its happens to me when i updatee favicon on my this site greggsmenuprices.uk, But later it updated. Its takes times.
