Hi all.
I’m setting up the Facebook and Instagram app for Shopify. I only want to use it in order to connect the pixel to my ads manager (i.e. send traffic direct to my Shopify store from ads.) But it seems that the app creates Shops for you in both FB and IG by default, without the option to decline this feature.
How can we turn off these shops within Meta? It doesn’t appear there is an option within the app to do so. And in the commerce manager on Meta Business, I can only disconnect IG (it won’t permit me to disconnect Facebook Shop as well.)
I’m probably overlooking something simple, but I’d appreciate some help on this. Thanks!
