The Country/Region of Origin field in the product editor is cumbersome for merchants managing large catalogs with repeated country entries. Currently, you must either scroll through the entire alphabetical list or type nearly the full country name before the autocomplete kicks in.
A simple improvement would be to preface each country name with its ISO 2-letter code — e.g., GB – United Kingdom, CN – China, TW – Taiwan. This would allow merchants to type a short, memorable code and land on the correct country instantly, significantly reducing friction during bulk product data entry.
This would be especially valuable for merchants regularly working with a consistent set of origin countries across a large SKU catalog.
