It would be awesome if one could upload a csv file to import at once multiple synonym groups – very slow to do it manually when you have loads of synonyms. Seems like a simple enough feature which could be helpful to many vendors.

These are the peer-to-peer forums, and mostly filled with bots regurgitating what you want to hear.
But don’t hold your breath, calling something “simple” as rhetoric to justify getting it falls on deaf ears.
Every other feature request is some merchants problem they to expect solved by shopify because it’s “simple” instead of investing in better tools.
Do not fall into that trap it’s silly.
First party apps are marketing bullet points of ENTRY LEVEL features.
If you need UI affordances and conveniences more than what’s on the shelf .. that’s literally what third party apps are for.
Don’t spend your time waiting for free tooling that does everything you could ever want, go and pay for it.
