What feedback do you want?
Currently, within the draft order product search experience, users are unable to view product SKUs or adjust item quantities prior to adding products to the order.
For the client’s operational workflow, both capabilities are important to improve speed, accuracy, and overall efficiency when creating backend orders on behalf of customers. Visibility into SKUs helps users quickly identify the correct products, particularly in catalogs with similar product names or variants, while pre-add quantity adjustments reduce unnecessary steps during order creation.
This enhancement would streamline the draft order workflow and improve usability for customer service and operations teams.

Hey @Midfieldco Show SKU’s in the search result so staff can quickly identify the right product or variants in the large catalogs with similar names or set quantity before adding instead of adding a products first and then editing the quantity afterward
if it is helpful to you then don’t forget to like and mark as solution on it
This feature is not currently available in the draft page search pop-up. Where do you see this feature?
Hi @Midfieldco ,
I understand this feature would be best implemented natively by Shopify, but if you are open to using third party apps to improve the operational workflow for creating draft orders, my app Draftable - Draft Order Helper (Draftable ‑ Draft Order Helper - Tailor draft orders to customers with advanced customizations | Shopify App Store) has exactly what you are looking for.
The app has a “New draft order” page, which you can access and search for products (the SKU will show on the search result, you can also search with SKU) , and you can change the quantity before adding to the draft order and create it.
The app has a free plan which you can use to evaluate if the functionality can improve the workflow for your store, please feel free to give it a try.
Regards,
Axel Kee
@soulchild37 Thank you, I was talking to our client about it in today’s meeting. I didn’t have the chance to review the app yet, but I will do that soon, and if it works for their use case, we can subscribe to the paid version. Thank you!
