Background:
Users who offer free shipping need a way to move shipping payments to a shopify balance account after each purchase of a shipping label and have the shipping threshold always pull from that account
Details:
Provide a dedicated shopify balance account that can be created and then configured for a dedicated shipping costs withdrawal so it’s easier to track actual cash on hand.
After every purchase of a shipping label, move funds from primary (configured) account to the dedicated shipping account.
I will know this is complete:
- when I can add a new balance account and configure it as a dedicated shipping account withdrawal source.
2.When I can configure an account to be a primary funding source for the shipping costs which funds are moved FROM after purchasing a label and then to the destination in bullet 1. - The system understands to only pull funds from the specified shipping balance account to pay for shipping costs.
