We have had a lot of complains (and I personally find it extremely invasive), about how the Shop Pay option on our website is set to check mark to ‘yes’ to automatically save people’s payment details. Lots of complains all over the web about this as well.
Please set this as an option for retailers to turn it off! With the amount of fraud going on out there, people need more control over their online shopping, not less. The positioning of the check box is (purposely?) very low down on the page and hard for clients to see.
Please set this to be an option we can turn off in our payments portion of the admin. Removing Shop Pay entirely as a payment option is currently the ONLY way to turn that invasive (and dangerous) check mark that auto-saves people’s payment information.
