FEATURE REQUEST (or bug report) - Collection conditions for Tags only allow "equal to"

When creating a collection using a TAG the ONLY option available: “is equal to”

All other options such as “contains” or “starts with” are disabled

Expected behavior

Other options should not be disabled

We should be able to create collections like so, consider the following setup:

Collections:

• Winter Mens = products tagged “Winter Mens”
• Winter Womens = products tagged “Winter Womens”
• Winter Kids = products tagged “Winter Kids”

New collection:

• All Winter = products tagged “tag contains” = “winter”

Currently that can not be done.

It should be

Thank you for your reply, but I think you have misinterpreted the problem.

PRODUCT TAG has but only 1 option “equal to” it should not. it should have the option CONTAINS

To reproduce the problem try to set up any collection that uses “contains, starts with, ends with” you will see that this critical feature was not engineered into the system…

Simply put YOU CAN NOT EVEN SELECT “contains” AS AN OPTION for TAGS

Try it. lol. you’ll see.

Try to “do” what you have suggested here.

THESE, are not “even available to select” they are DISABLED when TAG is selected in drop menu 1

These exist for PRODUCT TYPE

They do “not exist”, for TAG

they are disabled for PRODUCT TAG

Crazy huh?
