We have a retail shop where all the inventory is located. When an order comes in for shipping, the only notification we get is an email. This means if I’m on vacation or trying to take a few hours away from work, I must be constantly checking my email and sending the info to the store to pick and pack orders for shipping. We currently get pick up and delivery notifications at the store level, so why not shipping? We need the store to have access to all inventory change orders so they can pick it off the floor before they sell it to a brick and mortar client.
We would love to have the option to have a push notification on the POS system sent to the store for ALL orders that are placed online so they can pick the orders. Thanks.
Hi Shopify! Anyone out there? Still looking to have this one last thing set up. We get push notifications for everything except for shipping orders. Retailers don’t have some magical warehouse we are selling from. We sell from our store inventory. Can we please get shipping notifications pushed to our POS like everything else? Thanks!
I would like this feature as well! My staff frequently pull orders late, because the notification gets lost in the sea of POS sale notifications. I would like to be able to turn off notifications for POS sales, and only get notifications for Online sales.
We too would also like this feature. Not having some sort of notification when an online order is placed at your POS location is terrible. Email only does not suffice when your only staff are dealing with the POS device 99% of the time.
@Shopify_77 Please update Shopify POS to be able to add a Tile for Fulfillment of Shipping Orders the same way we can add for Local Pickup Orders. Why is this not already a feature!?!?! So frustrating for us at our brick and mortar.
Three years later and we still need this. My staff miss MANUALLY remembering to check using the SECOND app instead of just using the POS. Please, you have messed with coding on the in store pick up and local delivery for so long. Can you make it user friendly and including shipping? Can you try to remove friction for us, the users, instead of adding it? We could really use a system that is routinely stable, and works for how the USERS use it. Thanks!
